Sienna Stud Arabians

“Where Performance Counts”

11th May 2008

Well the year is certainly moving quick. Our babies are all going very well with all now weaned.

Sienna Swarovski (Anglo colt) is been prepared along with Sienna Jordynn (Australian filly) for the foal shows. We took them to the All Breed Foal show Tatura in April. Sienna Jordynn was Reserve Champion Australian Pony and 2nd Part Welsh Foal. Swarovski was 3rd in his Arabian Derivative colt class. We also took Thorpeville Shilo, although she did not place in her classes she behaved like a pro.

Jordynn and Swarovski both attended the Foal show at Tominbuk on the 10th May. Both foals were very well behaved. Jordynn came home with Champion Australian Pony foal in both rings. Swaroviski was 2nd in both his Anglo colt classes, which we were very happy with as he looks like such a youngster compared the other foals. Both foals are now at Future Farms until our last foal show at Werribee on the 25th May.

Sienna Christmas Toi (exp NZ) (by Warr of the Worlds) has a successful National show in New Zealand again, this time coming home with Reserve National Champion.  Congratulations to owner Jacquie Webby of Al Dhahab Arabian Stud.

Sienna Exklusive had a successful Arabian Challenge show winning her novice Bridle Path Hack class and placing in several other classes. Congratulations to Tracey Bavinton.

Sienna Black N Style is back in work and looking great. She is now schooling English very well and will be a very competitive ridden mare next season. Sienna Star Wars is enjoying the odd pleasure ride and is learning to handle all sorts of scary things out around the roads from cows and sheep too ponies in harness! Sienna Jullyen is continuing to impress and has now become the ‘family’ mount with mum taking over the reins for trail riding.

Horses on the move; Sienna Remington, Sienna Miranda, Sienna Kasandraa, Sienna Crimsynn Occasion, Amaranda Amanda Jones and Thorpeville Silver Dollar have all headed to new homes within Victoria. Thorpeville Dot Com and Lylliane have headed to new homes in NSW.

We have also leased Thorpeville Parker to the Burgun Family at Benalla. We look forward to watching his continued success undersaddle and in harness.

I have updated the sale page with new info, photo’s & updated prices. The foal page has also had some new photo additions.

Regards,

Alandi
