The Impact Fertiliser story began with the Bender family, spreading the first tonne of bulk fertiliser in Tasmania in September 1950. Over the next 50 years, the Benders spread over one million tonnes of fertiliser. The Benders created Impact Fertilisers in 1994 as a producer, importer, wholesaler and distributor of fertiliser products. It is based in one of the worlds cleanest and greenest havens on agriculture, forestry and fishing and has a practical, hands on approach and experience in all the elements that make fertiliser businesses successful.

 

Impact Fertilisers has grown significantly since it was established in August 1994. In the past few years Impact has focused on upgrading its single superphosphate plant at Derwent Park in Tasmania to achieve a world standard product.

 

Impact Fertilisers Australia’s primary focus is the seven (7) major products, DAP, MAP, SSP, Urea, MOP, TSP and Sulphate of Ammonia. However, additional items including Sulphur , Sulphate of Potash and a range of trace elements including Molybdenum, Zinc Sulphate and Copper Sulphate are also available.
